F-01Technical questions

Technical questions for product selection

01What is the motor insulation class?

CThe measured value is from the 2.2 kW EC80

The legacy English site states Class F / 155 °C and a highest value of 98 °C for the 2.2 kW motor. Without ambient temperature, load point, measurement location and the definition of the limit, these values cannot be subtracted into a temperature-rise margin; a conclusion waits for the original report.

02What are the bearing types?

BEC80 series

Front bearing 6305-2RS, rear bearing 6205-2RS.

03What bearing brands are used?

BEC80 series

By power band: 0.375–1.1 kW use C&U, a leading domestic brand; 1.5–2.2 kW use NSK, imported from Japan. The brand follows the power band, not the market version.

04Which silicon-steel grade is used?

BEC80 series

50W470.

05How is the ingress protection achieved?

B

Six steps: casing and front cover formed as one piece; an O-ring end-face seal between casing and end cover; contact surfaces machined for end-face flatness; additional sealant between the two; a domestic branded shaft seal; and the front bearing sealed with a rubber cover. These explain how protection is achieved — they are not an ingress-protection test report.

06What is the speed-control mode?

B

Two: a 0–10 V analogue reference, or RS485 communication. Both are taken directly by the controller on the motor, with no external drive cabinet. The RS485 register map is being obtained from the factory.

07What protection functions are provided?

C

Overcurrent, over-temperature, overload, under-voltage, locked-rotor and phase-loss protection. The Chinese site additionally lists surge and over-voltage; the two lists are being reconciled and must be checked against the actual controller revision.

08How much does the EC80 weigh?

BEC80 series

From 7.6 to 13 kg across the 0.375–2.2 kW range.

09Where are your products made?

A

Changzhou, Jiangsu, China: Floor 4, Building B, 56 Fenglin Road, Zhonglou District — the same address as the one named on the ISO 9001 certificate.

ISO 9001:2015 · 00125Q31110R1S/3200

Entries marked "EC80 series" are evidenced for that series only — the legacy answers were written around the EC80. The equivalent data for the EC100 and EC112 does not exist locally and is not inferred across series, least of all for fields that split by power band.

F-02Withdrawn and corrected

Legacy information requiring further documentation

Listing them is more useful than quietly deleting them. Withdrawn is not denied; the documents are missing. With the reports or declarations in hand, these can return.

DWhat is the protection class?

The legacy answer was "IP55"

No test report. The label is withdrawn and replaced by the six construction steps above.

DHow many hours of salt spray?

The legacy answer was "imported PPG powder coating, rated up to 700 hours"

The coating brand is usable and appears in the product materials; the 700-hour figure has no report and is withdrawn.

DWhat is the warranty period?

The legacy answer was "2 years"

No service terms exist behind it, so it is not published as a commitment. The actual warranty, delivery and sample terms are pending from the factory.

DIs it CE compliant?

Mentioned only on the overseas version page

No declaration of conformity or supporting file was provided. It can return once a declaration exists, naming the directives and models covered.

CorrectedWhat materials and processing are used for the housing and end caps?

On the legacy site this question was answered with the weight range — a clear mismatch between question and answer.

The weight now stands as its own entry above. The material and process answer is pending from the factory.

F-03Documentation required

Technical information still required for selection

An engineering buyer will ask these, so the questions are set down here along with what is missing. An empty answer is better than an invented one.

  • What do the efficiency curves look like?Measured efficiency at typical operating points is needed. All five legacy versions claim IE5 with no test report.
  • How loud is it?Sound pressure level at typical speeds is needed. Balancing and a uniform air gap both point at noise, but no measurement exists.
  • How does the RS485 integration work?A register map and the 0–10 V mapping are needed. The interfaces are stated, but no protocol document exists.
  • What are the mounting dimensions?Engineering drawings carrying a revision date and drawing number are needed. None exists locally.
  • What are the housing and end caps made of?The legacy site answered this with the weight. Material and process are pending from the factory.
  • What are the warranty and delivery terms? The legacy site said two years with no service terms behind it. The actual terms are pending.
